This Christmas season I dragged this recipe out from my overly stuffed recipe book.  Great memories of drinking this tea on cold nights.  It was given to me by my neighbor Karen Hansen. Cranberry Tea 1 Qt. Fresh cranberries (can use frozen) 2 Qt. water Boil until all the cranberries pop.  Strain through a cheesecloth pressing all the juice from the berries. In a separate pan: 2 cups water 2 cups sugar 2 (or more) Sticks cinnamon Boil gently for 10 minutes. Then add cranberry liquid and sugar syrup together.  At this point, you can store until ready to use in the refrigerator or in the freezer. Before Serving: 2 cups orange juice and 2 Tbsp. lemon juice and heat with the cranberry Tea base.
Christmas Morning Casserole My daughter asked for this recipe this morning so here it is: 1 lb. Monterey jack (shredded) cheese 1 C milk 1 C. Flour 1 Pt. Cottage Cheese 6 eggs,  lightly beaten 1/2 C melted butter Combine all ingredients. Pour into 12x7 inch baking dish.  Bake at 375 for 40 minutes or until set. Got this recipe from a lady that was in my flower arranging class when we lived in Japan. #grandmabonniesrecipies #christmasmorningcasserole
